This is the second day of our sailing trip, the weather is sometimes good and mostly bad, and all of us are inevitably affected by sea sickness, except for a few.
The cycle of sailing is that we work on deck, then we try to rest when we are not on watch, try to eat when we have time and try to keep from being thrown up by the ocean by our very best.
Sea sickness makes this routine very difficult, but the whole crew do their best to adapt. This is perhaps 4 times harder than I expected, but the whole team gives me great confidence that we will complete the voyage.
Yesterday I asked April, our dear team member who also joined the sailing expedition last year, she said this voyage has been much harder but she said she has no regrets because she has faith.
She sincerely believes in the joy and happiness we will have when we arrive. This really motivates me, seeing our team stay positive in such a harsh environment really inspires me.
This morning our watch on deck even spotted dolphins for the first time on our voyage. Hopefully they will bring us luck and courage, see you guys next time.
PS. I will try my best to give a little insight into our daily journey, I love my family and friends, especially all of you watching. It feels so connected and gives me the strength to carry on. Wish I can beat the seasickness and work on the update soon.
